The River That Does Not Flow

The River That Does Not Flow

The river stood in silent stillness,
Its waves hid their very breath,
The sky found its reflection there,
The trees kept a gentle watch.

The breeze softly caressed the bank,
Leaves exchanged their hidden secrets,
Like shells preserving precious pearls,
Silence guarded deeper meanings.

The current had not truly ceased,
It had turned into an inward journey,
When peace took root within the heart,
Life surged like the mighty ocean.
