Seed Seeking Light

Seed Seeking Light

A seed rested in the lap of the earth,
Silence cradled its quiet hope,
Raindrops arrived carrying life,
Dreams spread gently as roots.

Even in darkness it never lost courage,
A tender sprout rose upward in silence,
Morning stretched out its golden rays,
Light welcomed it with a smile.

The little plant looked toward the sky,
Leaves danced with the playful breeze,
Flowers began singing the song of life,
Hope grew into a mighty tree.
