The Sleepless Dream

In the night, eyes refused to close,
Images drifted across the mind,
Longings painted their gentle colours,
Tomorrow's roads appeared ahead.

Moonlight spread silver upon the paths,
Thoughts wandered seeking far horizons,
Ideas unfolded their waiting wings,
A guiding flame shone before the goal.

Awaiting the bloom of a new dawn,
Awakening discovered fresh directions,
Determination gathered quiet strength,
Life recorded its moments of success.
