The Colour of Emptiness

The Colour of Emptiness

An echo lingered in an empty room,
Walls concealed stories of the past,
The scenes sought by the eyes had faded,
Time stood still in silent stillness.

Scattered memories awakened again,
The heart counted every loss,
Distance walked beside like a shadow,
Sorrow gently stirred the soul.

Hope lit a tiny gleam of light,
A new direction emerged from darkness,
Experience offered deeper meaning,
Life began moving toward fulfillment.
