Lines of Light

Lines of Light

The first rays of dawn,
Flowed softly through the window.
Upon the folded lap of darkness,
Light began to write its lines.

Among the shadows of branches,
Golden hues gently spread.
The breath of a newborn day,
Filled the earth with freshness.

In every streak of brightness,
Hope blossomed and grew.
Along the lines of light,
Life moved steadily forward.
