Rain That Never Fell

Rain That Never Fell

Though dark clouds gathered above,
The rain never reached the earth.
Upon the waiting barren soil,
Only silence gently descended.

Within the fading movement of wind,
An unknown sorrow quietly lingered.
Words left forever unspoken,
Turned into waves within the heart.

Like rain that passed without falling,
Some dreams slowly faded away.
Yet the seed of hope remained,
Alive within the depths of the heart.
