Mirror of Rainwater

Mirror of Rainwater

On roads where rainwater rested,
The sky seemed to descend below.
In the little pools that gathered,
Clouds travelled in silence.

Beside the rain-soaked earth,
Memories stood in quiet circles.
When the breeze softly touched,
Ripples awoke with gentle smiles.

The footprints left behind,
Reflected upon the watery mirror.
If one paused there for a moment,
One could see oneself within.

By the roadside after the rain,
Only silence remained behind.
In the mirror of rainwater,
Life appeared and disappeared.
