Endless Backwarters

Endless Backwater

In the fading colors of evening,
The backwaters stretched far away.
Within the shoreless silence,
The sky melted into the water.

In the cool touch of the wind,
The waves moved softly along.
The distant sound of a boat,
Brushed gently against the silence.

Across the endless waterway,
Memories continued to drift.
Along with those endless waves,
The heart journeyed far away.
