A Lone Star

As the depth of night unfolded,  
The sky stood wrapped in silence.  
Far away, a lone star,  
Shone softly like a light of hope.  

In the calm journey of wind,  
Memories drifted gently near.  
Within the silent heart,  
Dreams quietly awakened again.  

Though darkness spread everywhere,  
Hope never faded away.  
The glow of that lone star,  
Became a path through the night.
