Between Two Worlds: A Prayer for PeacePrayer for Peace
Between Two Worlds: A Prayer for Peace
Within this weathered granite, I trace a time I once knew,
As summer fades away into a gold and auburn hue.
Between these two worlds, my weary soul seeks a trace,
Of a single drop of peace, a cooling rain of grace.
The selfish world keeps rushing, chasing shadows for its gain,
Yet deep within, my spirit cries to wash away the pain.
On this night, the entire world is thirsting for release,
Beneath this vast and hopeful sky, we pray for lasting peace.
Soon I’ll chase the southern sun to Kerala’s verdant shore,
And carry this same silent prayer, as I have done before.
Between these two worlds, my soul continues to roam,
Seeking that cooling rain of peace, to lead the spirit home.
