Wake up world, for the tender buds!
Wake up world, for the tender buds!
For whom are these wars?
For the wealth they call fuel?
The inner chest sears in pain,
As eyes grow heavy and damp.
Is it me? Is it you? Who is the greatest?
The sound of the sickle echoes in the air of blood.
Life screams, crushed and smothered,
As tender leaves fall, severed from the stem.
Nature sees everything,
She will strike back—watch for tomorrow.
The entire earth trembles in shock,
Against whom is this vengeance?!
Enough of this silence now,
Forget, forgive.
Reflect—and become human.
Death has taken too many; arise,
Be the voice for the dying little ones.
Stop these wars this very day,
Or tomorrow, history will question you.
Let the noises cease for once—
This world belongs not just to the two-legged.
Open your eyes, O world!
Halt these wars, O Human!
