Song of Midnight

The silent night embraces the earth,
Stars shine across the sky.
A gentle breeze taps at the window,
Spreading the music of quietness.

From afar, like a soft murmur,
The sound of a river is heard.
Moonlight falls upon the pathways,
Shadows travel slowly along.

Dreams bloom softly within the mind,
Thoughts flow in peaceful silence.
Under the shadow of sleep the whole world rests,
The song of midnight softly echoes.
