Evening of the Backwaters

Evening of the Backwaters

The soft light of dusk descends upon the waters,
Golden glimmers spread across the gentle waves.
Boats softly caress the rippling tides,
Continuing their silent journey into the distance.

Rows of palms sway and dance in the breeze,
The sky's vibrant colors play upon the swells.
The distant call of birds returning home is heard,
While the shores stand still, waiting in patient silence.

The fading sun paints a crimson portrait on the horizon,
Dreams drift along the silver lines of the water.
Quiet moments overflow within the heart,
The backwater dusk—a sweet, lingering memory.
