The Silence of Forgetfulness**

 The Silence of Forgetfulness**

He who forgets even his own name
He who looks on with tears
The face of his beloved wife
Known or forgotten, he wanders

Time and days have faded away
Without a single memory of the day
Even companions and friends
Ask, and he forgets them too

When the newspaper arrives, first of all
He fills the crossword puzzles
Time passes by, and he does not know
The silent days unfold

A sea of life without memories
Tomorrow, this could happen to you too
We could all experience it someday
This is not a way of life, it is truly the disease of forgetfulness — **Alzheimer’s**
