With how much silent ache
they move —
camera-eyed and unhidden,
across stages and festivals,
between birth and death,
amid weddings and rituals —
passing quietly through it all.

Even nature’s harsh distortions
they endure,
framing tomorrow’s memories
for a world that seldom pauses.

We rarely know their sorrow;
we notice only the smile.
For a measure of hunger,
for the quiet continuation of life,
they keep walking forward.

For those who carry
the full weight of life upon their chest,
I believe
we owe them
a little silence.
