Halfway

Halfway

Halfway through, I pause in silence,
A smile intoxicates my breath.
Seeking meaning in wandering footsteps,
I gaze toward unknown ends.

At times, my eyes drift downward,
A gate of blooming dreams opens wide.
Like lightning, memories flash and fade,
While moments play along with time.

I am ready to widen life’s path,
Waiting for the first ray of dawn.
A lamp of hope glows within the heart,
And a journey anew is born.
