Cool rain 


Cool rain falls gently over the hills  
Midnight paths are wrapped in misty chills  
Earth’s fragrance fills the heart with delight  
Leaves shimmer under droplets sparkling bright  

The breeze brushes trees with tender grace  
Rivers glide calmly in their blue embrace  
Birds sing songs of happiness and cheer  
Raindrops smile upon blossoms near  

Water caresses both banks with love  
Memories drip silently from above  
Moments are soaked in the cooling rain  
Dreams touch sleep with a soothing chain
