“O Death, Come Forth”

“O Death, Come Forth”

O Death, come forth, when silence fills the sky,
All living forms walk the same final path.

Flowers will fade, and stars will lose their glow,
The wheel of time never halts its flow.

When winds grow still, the shores fall quiet,
Even rivers one day will find their rest.

Songs once sung will melt into the void,
Peace will rise with the setting sun.

Life is but a wave upon the sea,
O Death, come forth — through eternity’s way.
