A Poet’s Day

A Poet’s Day

Birds sing at dawn,
New lines glow within the heart.

Tea cup in hand, thoughts flow,
Sweet breeze spreads, the soul shines.

Books open, old poems remembered,
Scenes along the paths awaken.

Evening tea, laughter with friends,
Starlight falls upon the pages.

Poetry comes, spreading a small smile,
If ignored, she drifts away with another face.

Wind outside hums the verses,
Life’s small moments turn into songs.

Every thought blooms as a flower in poetry,
Poetry’s rhythm taps the window of the mind.
