Twilight of Memories"

Twilight of Memories"

I, your grandfather, once became
An elephant, a horse,
A shepherd, a jester,
All to play with you, my little one.

I lifted you on my back like an elephant,
Galloped like a horse across the fields,
Chased imaginary wolves,
Sang songs of wonder and magic,
Laughing together under the sun and stars.

Now the boundaries lie dim and still,
The world I once created drifts away.
The playful face has wrinkled,
Yet memories dance around my bed.

My eyes no longer chase the sky,
The river and the fields are far away.
No little hands run to me,
Only shadows linger,
And silence fills the space.

In my hand, an old timepiece
Keeps quiet through the days.
Someone calls softly in my heart —
"Grandfather, rise…"

But I open my eyes to the clouds,
A gentle smile, a soft breath —
Like echoes of childhood games,
I drift slowly into stillness,
Into eternal peace.
