Truth and non-violence spoke as one,
Bapu’s path shone bright like the sun.
The spinning wheel spreads dreams anew,
Freedom songs rise, pure and true.

He taught us how to live with care,
Words of love floated through the air.
O Father of the Nation, we bow and say,
On the path of sacrifice, you led the way.

Tender dreams that cannot fade,
Love and unity in us were laid.
Through the lighted path, you came along,
In our hearts, your childhood spirit shone strong.
