Sweetness of Tears

From my eyes, the falling tears
Carry a sweet, quiet ache,
Your presence I cannot feel,
Only in dreams does love awake.

In your eyes, you bloom before me,
My heart searches for you everywhere,
Without you knowing, quietly you go,
In memories, you alone remain.

For you, the moonlight sings,
Songs filling my heart’s strings,
In the gentle evening breeze,
You settle softly in my soul.
