Dawn

The eastern sky awakens bright,
Golden rays spread tender light.

Mist dissolves on grassy plain,
Morning breeze hums soft refrain.

Birds awaken with joyful tune,
Dewdrops sparkle beneath the moon.

Blossoms open with gentle glow,
Streams of silence softly flow.

Dreams of night now fade away,
New hopes bloom with the day.

Mike and Mabo  A Farewell from Toronto: The Pilot and the Poet As my departure for God's Own Country draws near, I find myself reflecting on the quiet, meaningful connections made here on the shores of Ontario.
