The blue lake and my mind

Rest quietly upon the shore

The touch of wind caresses my heart

Shadows dance upon the water


Today, the breeze of Kanni month touched me from my native land and moved away

Fragrance of flowers flows through the air

The sky pours into blue eyes

Gleaming waves scatter dreams

The river’s flow joins with my heart


Stars shine through tears of night

Moonlight spreads like wings

Evening colors fill the world

The poem within me murmurs in peace
