Sweet Pain

Sweet Pain

When yesterdays fade into dreams,
Today’s hopes awaken bright,
Tunes are woven for tomorrow,
Whispers linger through the night.

Blossoms bloom with tender grace,
Shadows spread a gentle hue,
Butterflies flutter in silent chase,
Sipping nectar fresh and true.

Far away the horizon shines,
The moon unveils her silver face,
Love’s desire stirs my heart,
Waves of longing softly trace.

Drowned in you, my soul is full,
Eternal as the endless skies,
In your smile my song begins,
A melody of love that never dies.
