In the Winter Nights

In the Winter Nights

Winter evenings spread their vermilion glow,
The pale moonlight smiles and stands aglow.
The breeze sings the melodies of India,
Mountain slopes adorned with snowy garlands.

At the end of waiting, he came,
The golden light of the sun shone.
To hear the whispers of dreams,
Spring leans, listening with longing.

When flowers bloom, dreams flourish,
Love shines in the rainbow of stars.
Music plays in the leaves of trees,
The hidden words of the heart echo softly.

Raindrops like pearls kiss the rooftops,
Ragas resound in the fallen notes of love.
Dark clouds embrace the moon,
On this charming night, poetry awakens.
