Footprints

Footprints drawn upon the sandy shore,
Waves arrived and erased them once more.

Whispers of wind concealed the way,
Memories alone chose to stay.

On the path, some strangers walked,
Silent journeys, nothing talked.

Raindrops fell upon the land,
New tales bloomed at nature’s hand.

On roads where time had passed away,
Only silence chose to stay.

Like shadows fading on the stair,
Life moves forward everywhere.
