Fasting 

Daylight rises, vows unfold,
Silent whispers, prayers untold.
Hands together, eyes gently close,
Mind drifts freely, where calmness flows.

Lamps are glowing, incense swirls,
Hearts awaken, the soul gently twirls.
Hunger reminds, yet peace fills within,
Time moves slowly, fulfillment begins.

Songs rise softly, hope lifts above,
Faith grows stronger, wrapped in love.
Evening descends, rituals complete,
Gratitude lingers, hearts joyfully beat.
