Dialogue with a cap

Dialogue with a Cap”

By the lakeside bench,
a cap rests in silence,
its owner forgot it, or left it behind,
like a door half-opened.

The lake gently asked with love,
“Little cap, don’t be sad,
your warmth once guarded dreams,
now you guard memories.”

The poet sat listening,
heart filled with echoes,
even forgotten things
blossom within thoughts.

In reflection, the poet lifts the cap softly,
and feels how even in stillness,
stories breathe quietly,
turning every loss into the song of life.
