By the Riverside

By the Riverside

By the riverside, a thrill awoke,
Blossoms on branches welcomed the spring.

In the rhythm of winds, they swayed and played,
A cuckoo’s song touched the heart deep.

A dawn unfolded in tender shade,
Waves sang lullabies as they moved along.

Droplets danced on the sandy shore,
Shadows of trees stood silently still.

Moonlight smiled with golden beams,
Filling dreams within the heart.

Birds in flight lit up the sky,
By the riverside, beauty sang aloud.
