In your shadow I will stay,
Merging with the moonlit grey.
Your shy eyes, softly closed,
In my memory, forever composed.

Like the strings of a veena’s song,
Where love and pain together belong,
When you listen to my heart’s refrain,
I drown in feelings I can’t contain.

In the breeze that sways with flowers,
Sweet caress fills my hours.
You are the glow that never fades,
Shining bright in heaven’s shades.


Though time may change, though nights prolong,
In my eyes, I’ll seek you lifelong.
On love’s endless path I’ll stay,
Holding you close, forever, I pray.
