Lonely Thoughts – 99

Lonely Thoughts – 99

We chase approval, lose our way,
Forget what inner voices say.
In seeking praise from every face,
We trade our truth for empty grace.

A borrowed smile may look so bright,
But dims the soul, hides its light.
Our wings of thought begin to fold,
As silent dreams grow tired and cold.

Be brave to walk your chosen road,
Let self-respect be your code.
Your mind is yours, don't let it stray—
Live your own song, come what may.
