Lonely Thoughts – 97

Lonely Thoughts – 97

Hearts may travel far and wide,
Still feel close, like waves and tide.
Words unsaid begin the drift,
Silence becomes a growing rift.

Eyes may meet but miss the truth,
Assumptions steal the voice of proof.
One small doubt, a seed of pain,
Turns sunshine into pouring rain.

Not the miles, but broken trust,
Turns friendship into scattered dust.
Speak with care, listen deep—
That’s the bond we need to keep.
