Borders

Borders

Lines drawn across silent lands,
Mountains echo with guarded stands.

Rivers split while flowing free,
Winds still cross without a plea.

Hearts divided by walls of stone,
Dreams wander where seeds are sown.

Birds keep flying without command,
Clouds embrace both sea and sand.

Eyes still long for a gentle touch,
Hope survives though trials are much.

Hands may part yet voices unite,
Love outshines each border’s might.
