Affection in Pain"

Affection in Pain"

As dragonflies hummed in dawn’s pale light,
Dewdrops gently kissed the tender leaves.
Behind the smile of a blooming flower,
A silent sorrow softly unfolded.

The aimless breeze searched for answers,
Drifting through memories that lost their hue.
In the trembling of a newborn bud,
Emptiness spread like a shadowed mist.

The soaked ache hung low in the sky,
Flowing towards the shores of solitude.
In each falling drop from the sky,
The heart sought comfort — quietly, endlessly.

Within the soul that waited through time,
A glimmer rose in fading sunlit fields.
Though time's embrace had taken you far,
You linger still — a shadow in my song,
— a memory gleaming in my eyes.
