On the Path of Life

On the Path of Life

Though I wish to speak aloud,
I step aside with silent sorrow,
Bearing the burden of a birth-long pain.

Like garlands and customs that fade,
I build high walls around myself —
Let the vault of art never lose its shine.

With sweetness and bitterness blended,
I meet some unforgettable faces,
Though words may reveal them, still...

Silence is what I cherish most,
When I walk the path of a sage,
Even that silence becomes a divine memory.
