Petals awake with golden hues,
Morning sun kisses each leaf anew.
Songs of harvest whisper through air,
Footsteps of joy echo everywhere.

Memories tiptoe in soft delight,
Old laughter glows in candlelight.
Aroma of feasts fill the space,
Banana leaves wait in silent grace.

Grandmother’s tales flow like rain,
Unity binds beyond joy and pain.
Onam returns with gentle charm,
A homeland dream that keeps us warm.
