Lonely Thoughts – 77

When gentle hearts must walk apart,
A silence grows within the heart.
Smiles once shared now fade away,
Leaving echoes where joy would stay.

Hands once held are now set free,
Eyes search through memory's sea.
Moments linger like distant song,
Wishing time had stayed so long.

Each goodbye carries hidden pain,
Like sudden summer turned to rain.
Still, the bond remains so true,
Even if skies lose their blue.
