Lonely Thoughts – 72

True Friends Through Truth

Truth may walk a quiet path,
away from applause or worldly gain.
The crowd may drift, their voices uncertain,
yet honesty does not tremble.

False praises may fill the air,
but genuine hearts value those who care.
Loyalty grows beneath open skies,
built on words untouched by deceit.

Only a few may remain, but they stand firm,
reaching with hands that mean no harm.
Where light reveals, shadows disappear —
the right companions belong to truth.
