Lonely Thoughts – 68

Lonely Thoughts – 68

They had no time to see who waits,
Chasing moments, racing with fates.
Eyes fixed ahead, they walked in speed,
Forgetting the hearts they made bleed.

Those who waited, day and night,
With gentle hope, held on tight.
In silent strength, they hid their pain,
Like flowers longing for summer rain.

But when the busy turned to see,
No waiting souls were there to be.
Time had flown, doors were closed,
The moment lost, forever froze.
