The Journey of Language"

In ancient times,
Humans shared their thoughts
With gestures and signs—
Then, words were born,
And pathways to the heart opened.

My mother tongue Malayalam is dear to me,
But life embraces the beauty
Of many tongues—
In India, there are twenty-two official languages!

“As the taste of water changes every two miles,
So does the language every four”—
Such is the richness of thought
In this land of languages—India, the great book!

Though battles were fought for languages,
They ended in unity—“Unity in diversity!”
From mathematics to music,
Language helped mankind scale new heights.

As we open new doors,
New languages walk with new discoveries.
