Lonely Thoughts – 54

Lonely Thoughts – 54

A thorn underfoot taught how to walk with care,
But pain in the heart gave the strength to bear.

On rough and silent ground, each step turned light,
When sorrow carved courage, like sand standing tight.

Sharp pricks below taught balance and grace,
Deep wounds within shaped a stronger face.

The rocky path showed the way to light,
Shadows inside slowly led to bright.

With time, the outer hurt slipped away,
Inner pain gave rhythm and reason to stay.

Lessons from pain helped one rise high,
From silent tears, reached up to the sky.
