Never giving in to forgetfulness,
They turn in the mind like tears in the eyes.
Like the shadow of a smile,
His presence remains.

When eyes wait in silence,
He stays close in dreams.
As a sound within a sigh,
The heart longs for someone.

When slipping away without a touch,
It becomes a pain the heart can’t explain.
If he hides in the corners of memory,
Even in the day, it feels like night.
