The Colors of India – A Springtime Journey"

With Vishu Kani's gentle light, a new day dawns bright,
Fruits and flowers fill the home, hearts dancing in delight.
Golden sun over green fields brings blessings anew,
Families gather with joy and love shining through.
A new year begins, peaceful and true.

In Tamil homes, feasts served on leaves so fine,
Kolams bloom like stars, in festive design.
With Kaveri’s flow, hearts brim with grace,
Traditions and smiles lighting every face.
A spring of joy in every place.

In Odisha, sweet drinks bring a cooling cheer,
As Sankranti whispers, “peace is near.”
New sun rises with soulful gleam,
Cleansing hearts like a gentle stream.
Earth and spirit in a sacred dream.

"Shubho Nobo Borsho!" rings the Bengali song,
With rosogollas sweet and ties strong.
New books open, past sorrows close,
In melody and art, joy freely flows.
A fresh year blooms like a rose.

In Manipur, spring winds softly play,
Sajibu’s call starts a bright new day.
Worship, tradition, rice, and flowers,
Moments filled with healing powers.
A new dawn in the eastern towers.

Assam’s tunes with Rongali beat,
Colorful clothes and dancing feet.
From Bhogali to Bihu, a harvest cheer,
Fields and songs full of the year.
A bond with nature, ever dear.

In Punjab, mustard gold paints the ground,
Bhangra and Giddha in joy resound.
Langar flows in temples wide,
With selfless love and heartfelt pride.
Baisakhi glows with Guru’s guide.

Though languages differ, hearts speak the same,
Festivals unite in the nation’s name.
Soil, prayer, and tradition entwine,
"Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" – forever shine.
Diversity is what makes India divine.
