In love, hearts often break,
Joy and sorrow intertwine,
Eyes that once sparkled bright,
Now, they sometimes cry.

Moments of bliss so sweet,
Can turn to aching voids,
A smile can mask the hurt,
The heart silently destroyed.

Yet, love still weaves its spell,
Making every moment count,
For even with the pain,
It's a journey worth the mount.
