At first sight

At first sight

Banyan leaves in breezy sway,
Brightened heart in a gentle way.
Peeking through the branches wide,
Saw your face, joy amplified.

Festival drums began to play,
Hearts in sync, we found our way.
Eyes met briefly, time stood still,
Silent stories hearts did fill.

Moments passed, yet tales were spun,
Of a love just now begun.
Every beat, a rhythm true,
In that glance, I found you.
