always to conquer

Man tries always to conquer nature's force,
Yet finds himself upon a winding course.
Mountains climbed and rivers tamed,
Still, nature's power remains untamed.

We build our cities, tall and wide,
But nature's strength we cannot hide.
Storms will rage, and winds will blow,
Reminding us of what we cannot know.

For every tree we fell, another grows,
In nature's dance, life always flows.
Man may strive with all his might,
But nature's will remains in sight.
